PRO AM Rules and Regulations
The JHL Summer PRO AM will feature an “A” level of competition for the experienced player or for college players aged 18 and over as of our start date. This league has historically been the strongest in the Shore area and will look to keep up it’s competitive balance again this Summer.
Season and Standings
JHL Summer PRO AM teams are guaranteed (10) games beginning June 11 - August 15th. The regular season will consist of (9) games, week ten will begin the post season. Teams will receive 2 points for a win, 1 point for a shootout loss and 0 points for a regulation loss.
Game Format
5 minute warm up
(3) 16 minute periods (No Cut)
If the score is tied after 3 periods there will be a shoot out with (3) players from each team. If still tied after first shoot out round the shoot out will continue with (1) player from each team until a winner is determined. (Players cannot be used twice until every skater on the bench has gone.)
