Girls U14 Division Rules and Regulations
Our brand new Girls U14 Division will enter play this summer. This is our inaugural season for the Girls U14 Division, and this will be a full-ice 5-on-5 league to be played under Bantam level rules, including 15 minute periods, and full contact.
Season and Standings
JHL Girls U14 Division teams are guaranteed (10) games from June 11 - August 15th. The regular season will consist of (9) games, week nine will begin the post season. Teams will receive 2 points for a win, 1 point for a shootout loss and 0 points for a regulation loss.
Game Format
5 minute warm up
(3) 15 minute periods (No Cut)
If the score is tied after 3 periods there will be a shoot out with (3) players from each team. If still tied after first shoot out round the shoot out will continue with (1) player from each team until a winner is determined. (Players cannot be used twice until every skater on the bench has gone.)
Penalties/Conduct
USA Hockey Rules will apply, with the following exceptions:
Conduct towards officials- Abuse of officials will not be tolerated. Any player ejected from a game for abuse of officials will receive a (2) game minimum suspension and subject to expulsion from league.
Automatic icing and touch up offsides will be played.
